JaKe TuRnS 1!!!!

I can't believe that my baby boy is 1. Where has the time gone? Why does it go by so fast. I love this little guy he has been such a blessing to our little family.
Here is Jake opening a present at Grandma's house with Daddy.
One of his big sisters showing him how the new race track toy works. It's so cute to see my girls taking care of there little brother.

Jake playing in his new ball house that he got for his birthday.

This is so Jake... I couldn't even put the cupcake down before he got into it. My girls we had to put the birthday cake on there face just to get a picture.
3 cupcakes later and he still wanted more.
I look at this baby picture of Jake and it makes me so sad. I want him to grow up and I get excited for him to learn new things. I can't help but miss the little snuggly newborn baby though.
Happy Birthday Mr. Squishy!

CHRISTMAS '09

I love Christmas. I love the lights, the shopping, the yummy christmas food, being with family, watching kids open presents, giving presents, having kids home from school, the smell of christmas trees... all of it.
I bet you didn't know that Santa gives hand-me down toys too. Which by the way we LOVE. Thanks to my bestest friend who made Jakes Christmas really impressive!
The big present this year from Santa was a DS in pink.
Another DS from Santa but this one in blue.
Opening stockings before Jake woke up. We told the girls that they could get up at 6:45 to open presents. This was the first year that we had to set a time. Evie came in our room at 4:30 am then 5:30 am so we put a clock in her room and she came in at 6:15 instead of 6:45 then went back to bed and came in at 7:15. She was a little excited. I think the problem was at 4:30 she saw that Santa had come and was not wanting to go back to bed.

I must have been tired of taking pictures because this is the only one I got on Christmas day at my mom and dads house. It's cute!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve at my mom and dads house. Every year it's yummy food... lots of kids... laughs and just being with family.
One thing I love about Christmas is Lulu comes to spend some time with us. All my sisters and me.
Christmas Eve loves for my little guy!
Christmas Eve we always give the kids jammies. I love these kiddos!
All the kids minus Kingston because he didn't want to get in the picture.
I love this look.... awwwhhh to be a kid again!

Temple Square

Audrey talked me into making a trip down to temple square while Brett and Evelyn were out visiting with Travis. I told Audrey I didn't want to go just because I knew that Jake was going to be hard, guess what.... HE WAS HORRIBLE!
My favorite part of temple square this year. I just loved standing in front of this scene with the temple behind and all the lights floating in the water.... until Jake started screaming his head off because he wanted in the water.

Awwwhhh.... he was quiet for about 5 minutes.

We haven't been to temple square for about 2 years so Lydia doesn't remember much. She loved it and that made it all worth it. She just keep saying "Mom I love it here we should live here". What a freaking cutie. I wished Evelyn and Brett had come, I think Evie would have loved it too.
Mikayla is so good with Jake... makes me want a 9 year old.

Few Pictures!

This post is not in order and just a few pictures that I wanted to post on my blog, things that needed to be published.

Pictures from Evie's birthday party at Grandma and Grandpa's. Madison and Evie's birthday's are exactly a week apart so we did them both together.... Sooo fun!
In this picture: Lydia, Evelyn, Madison and Cambria.

What a sassy bunch of girls... boy are we in big trouble. I love Cam in this picture!
Jake's allergic reaction to Penicillin over Thanksgiving weekend. This is Day 1 earlier in the morning.

Still day 1 but in the evening at the ER.
This is day 4 feeling a little better... I should have taken more pictures of days 2 and 3 but he was not a happy little dude.
I think this is day 3. Who knows!!!! But he is all better now... Yay!!!
Thanksgiving dinner at my parents house.

Good Knight Moses!!!

Good Knight Moses!!! My mom's sphynx cat passed away late last night. Moses was in our family for over 7 years. He was a great cat and very sweet. Moses loved to sun bathe and have his bum spanked. He loved to sleep under blankets and play with his buddy Cash (my mom's other cat). We will sure miss you Mo Mo and you will always be in our thoughts.

My Parents!

This time of year I am always thinking about the things I am most grateful for. One thing that is always top on my list is my family. I was told growing up that family is the most important thing. My parents have gone through and are still going through a lot. I know that we all have our own trials and tribulations to overcome... with that being said, my parents are no exception to that rule. I really look up to my mom and dad. I watch them and even when times are hard they do what they can to make sure we are okay and happy.
Today my mom and dad reminded me of what it was like growing up. We did fun things (that didn't cost a ton of money) and spent time just being together. On the way home from dinner my girls were in my dad's car and instead of going straight home he made a small detour. He took the kids in a cul-da-sac and just drove the car in cirlces. My mom after picking up the kids from school took them all to get an ice cream cone from Artic Circle. They drove around just laughing and playing.
We did things like this all the time just being together and making memories... to me that's what being a FAMILY is all about.
I LOVE YOU MOM AND DAD!!!

Thanksgiving FUNNNN!!!!

Thanksgiving this year was (like all holiday's in our house) very eventful. This year Evelyn's birthday landed right on turkey day. Jake woke up to a few spots on his legs... looking like hives, I stopped his penicillin he had been taking for an ear infection. We had breakfast at Brett's parents house and dinner at my parents house. Later I ended up in the ER with Jake looking lots worse. Finally home at 10:30 pm and then back at the dr's this morning. This is a picture of Jake last night in the ER, he looks lots worse today. They say he has a rash, not hives from the medication. We will see how this goes.

NEW MOON!!!

New Moon weekend finally came. Audrey, my mom and I had decided to have a party to celebrate. We had so much fun planning and talking about what we were going to do. We struggled a little because we wanted it have a vampire feel but didn't want things to look Halloweenish. We wanted it to stay elegant. This is all of us at the dinner table. We actually had a bigger party planned but a few people couldn't make it.
A bottle of blood to have with dinner.

Pick your chocolate candy bar for the movie. I had a hard time picking between Jacob and Edward... so I took both.

Oh yes, and a cookie for dessert.

This is the table all set up!

Lots of candles, red roses, napkins folded in to a rose, a crystalized apple place setting, diamonds... and the best company!

This was one of the best touches of the night. Audrey and I hand dipped the rim of the glasses in hard candy mix. They turned out really neat... it was worth the 3 burns Audrey and I got from this project. The best part was, it was actually really yummy!!!
We did have some surprised guests come for a small photo shoot. These are only a few of my favorites. ENJOY!

Thanks Aud for planning this great party with me. It was a lot of fun and it turned out fabulous.

Pumpkin Patch

We took the kids to a pumpkin patch over the weekend and we had alot of fun.
Lydia sitting in this little pumpkin carriage. What a princess!
My boy... notice the wet shirt. This is how he looks all the time... drooling and spitting!
Evie sitting with some pirates... I can't believe how big she is getting.
