I learned how to ride my bike today without training wheels. My daddy and mommy and my cousin Mikayla all helped me learn. It didn't take me very long, only 1 day. I love riding my bike!

My Aunt Linda sent me an email with a blog page that had some really easy and yummy looking desserts. I saw these and just had to make them. I did a yellow cupcake mix for the bun, brownie for the beef patty, white decorating balls on top of the bun (the recipe says to use sesame seeds but I didn't have any) and frosting for all the toppings. Pretty tasty! My kids loved them (of course)!
Recital time is soooo busy and stressful. It's always a lot of work but in the end I am so proud of my girls. Here are pictures of some of the family that came... Nana and Aaron!
Okay we found this huge black spider on our kitchen chair in the house, captured it so that we could look it up on the internet to see what kind of spider it was and then it just became our pet for a little while. We named the spider Frank... Frank is a Daring Jumping Spider. After looking him up on the internet we decided to watch him for a couple of days. I caught some grasshoppers and put them in the cage with Frank and I was intrigued at watching him suck all the blood out of these grasshoppers. One morning I woke up and looked in Franks cage and he had made a cacoon like web... guess what, Frank is a Francis and had a huge sack of babies. Broken sack of baby spider eggs...... Frank (Francis is no longer with us)!
Lydia had her preschool graduation last week... thought I would finally post it! I am so proud of you Lydia for doing so well in preschool! It was a great year with only a few, drop off crying episodes. Lyd did so good at her graduation, each kid had a letter from the alphabet and something to memorize with that letter. Lyd's was "B is for bravery, our soldiers freely give" and she did a great job. Then a few kids were picked to recite a poem from the year. Lyd was picked to do Twinkle Twinkle Little Star (which she knew before school) she did it all on her own in front of a bunch of people and she did so great! Thank you to those who came, Lydia loved having you there.
