So Much Stuff

Time is going by so fast lately and I think that is because we seem to have something going on constantly. I am actually looking forward to it slowing down for a little. Here are some of the things we have been up to.

Red Rock Relay ZION:
I talked Aaron, Nick, Brett, Audrey and Josh into running the Red Rock in Zion with me. I had good intentions to train (I have completely stopped running. :( It makes me so sad). Anyway never trained and it was a hard race. I did it and I am still alive and only a little sore. But it was an amazing time. In a van for 2 days... little sleep... little food... and lots and lots of running. I love my family and it was such a great challenge for us to do all together. And thanks to an amazing other half of our team which included some amazing friends. Here are some photos.
Aaron worked so hard and trained hard. He did an amazing job. Way to go Buddy!
Audrey had the first run down Brian Head mountain ski resort. It was a hard run and she handled it like a champ. She was so excited when she saw those orange cones.
Nick had the longest runs... because this he did Red Rock Moab I thought he would LOVE to do the bigger legs. He did over 18 miles and only walked a few feet of it.
Me waiting for my next run. In the middle of the night on a dirt road with no light... I loved it. Made me really miss that feeling of a great run.
All the girls on the team. At the finish line there was laughter and tears and lots of hugging.
My Mom, Dad and Melissa came and drove the whole time cheering us on. On facebook there were a couple contests. One was who ever's team got the most votes on Red Rocks facebook page you would win 2 rooms at Brain Head resort the night before the race. Our team DOA (dead on arrival) won. It was so great... super nice rooms and we got to sleep in a whole hour and a half more and got up at 5:30 am to race instead of 4:00 am. There was another facebook contest that whatever team had the most posts on facebook during the race would win a free team to RedRock Moab. We won that one too. Thanks to everyone who posted and voted. Thanks to my whole amazing team.
Selena Gomez:
My girls love Selena Gomez and when they heard she was coming in concert there was no way they were going to stop begging me to take them. We decided to make a big girls night out with it.
Lydia, Meg and Evelyn waiting for Selena to come on stage. First concert for these 3 little girls. They loved it.

The girls on there way in to the E Center. I was a little nervous about the concert but it was actually pretty good and Selena does a good job live.
Park City: We spent 4 days in Park City with Brett's parents. We did the coaster and Alpine slide all day one day. We did some swimming and shopping. Jake was super sick on the way up. He was having some breathing problems. I ended up taking him to an insta-care in Park City. They gave him a breathing treatment and he had strep. Got his medicine headed to the hotel and got him laying in bed... then he puked all over me. But by the next morning he was doing so much better and had a lot of fun.
Jake loved the airplane and rode this ride over a dozen times. He loved flying Lydia around or chasing her when she would ride in the plane right in front of him.
Jake on the coaster with Grandpa. He loved it and would giggle the whole way down. No pics but grandpa fell off the slide and really did a number on his arm, leg, head, and one hand.
My girls waiting for a caramel apple. Yummy!!!
Evie is too old to ride with someone on the coaster so she was forced to do it alone. She was way nervous after Grandpa fell off but she did a good job and had some fun doing it herself.

I love these guys. Park City was so much fun and the kids had a blast. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa.
