Basement... I am soooo EXCITED!

Our basement is getting so close to being finished. I am so excited for the finished product. Lu told me she was planning on moving in the week of June 11th. I was hoping to have a little time to enjoy my new space but that's okay... it will be nice for Nick and Lu. These are the cabinets... we wanted them to match upstairs. I think they turned out pretty nice.

This is the paint... you can't see the textured wall very well but I love it. These little things that we didn't get to pick upstairs when we bought our house has been so much fun to do downstairs. I love how the inside of the closet is painted dark. Great little touch Tom and Shane.

Brett and I have struggled with a counter top for the kitchen but I think we may have got it down to two choices... I will post that later. Last night a trip to home depot and we got sinks, faucets and a mirror for the bathroom. YAYYYY!!!!!

Vegas and St. George!!!

April is always so busy. We are off track the whole month and we have lots of fun celebrating Spring and lots of Birthdays. Brett, my mom, Nick and Chris all have April birthdays.

This year Zach and I did an Easter Egg hunt for Nana and Papa. The kids loved watching them run around finding eggs.

A trip to St. George. My kids love to hike and climb on the red rocks. I think they love that as much as swimming.

My cute family! It was actually kinda cold on this hike. Made it really nice though!

We got to spend a day with Trav's girls. My girls sure miss them a ton and it's nice to have these times together.

On our hike, grandpa's hat was taken by the wind and about to fly off the cliff. I didn't hesitate to stop taking photos to try and help. Sorry Grandpa... had to shoot the moment.

What a great hike to have Grandpa and Uncle Trav! Jake was able to get Trav to come on this hike. One little please and he couldn't say no.

Then off to Vegas to watch Heather and Chris get married in VEGAS!!!
