SUMMER SICKIES!

Summer colds are horrible, I think. It should be cold free so that you can play and do all the summer stuff you have been waiting to do. Poor Zach's family they have all been really sick this summer. I swear the whole month of July someone in their family has been sick. Well yesterday Emmy took an ambulance ride up to Primary's (requested from her Pediatrician). They think she has phnemonia and her oxygen was way down. Me, Audrey and my mom went to visit her last night and she seemed to be feeling a little better. She just kept saying how bored she was up there. Poor little girl, Emmy I hope you get feeling better real soon.

The Fetal Foto Experience

On Friday Brett and I decided it was time to take our girls and head to Fetal Foto's to see if we were having a baby girl or a baby boy. We met my mom, Heather, Ayana and Mikayla at Carls Jr (gross) for lunch and then over to Fetal Foto's. So guess, boy or girl.
We are having a little baby boy! We are so excited. Finally Brett will have a son to teach how to play baseball and watch sports with.

Enjoying Summer!

I have been horrible at blogging lately. Last week Heather and I took the kids to the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving point. I thought that Zeke would love it because he loves Dinosaurs, my mistake. When he wasn't crying to be held the whole time he had his hands over his eyes. Oh well, the other kids loved it! We have been once before but this time we did the 3-D movie. I actually enjoyed the movie more then I thought I would. We had a lot of fun and it was nice to get out of the hot weather for a change!

4th at my Parents!

I do have one picture of the 4th at my parents house. I laugh at this picture because this is how it is all the time with the whole family together. It's not just holiday's either but every Sunday. It's nuts most of the time but the best times of my life are with my family.

4th of July Fun!

Every year on July 3rd we take the kids up to Brett's parents house. Bountiful does their fireworks on the 3rd, makes it kindof nice so that we get to have more time with both families. We headed up there early afternoon, we took the kids swimming, went back to the in-laws had a yummy BBQ, watched fireworks and had a sleep over. We had breakfast and then it was off to my parents house. My camera died so I didn't get pictures at my parents house... sigh...! We had another yummy BBQ, celebrated Lulu's birthday and did fireworks at my moms house. It has been a wonderful 4th of July weekend, except for one tragedy. Phoebe our Chinese Pug lost her best friend this weekend in a tragic accident. Harriet, Heather's Chinese Crested was hit by a car late on the 4th. We miss you Harry!

Relaxing by the Pool

So on this hot summer day we went to the dollar movie at Jordan Landing. We saw Ant Bully. Thanks Nanette for joining us, that was a lot of fun. Then we went to lunch and back to my moms to beat the heat by relaxing by the pool. Not so relaxing for some of us. Me for instance, setting all the pools up and filling them with water. Then sitting in the hot sun making sure no one drowns. Lu on the other hand did get to relax in the pool and enjoy the cold water.

Sushi - For the not so Sushi Lovers

So Audrey and I made a few things for Ayana's birthday last weekend. Homemade Quiche for breakfast, cupcakes for desert and kids sushi.

This is the Sushi for people who don't like the "real" sushi.
