Having two girls 19 months apart... I never would have guessed they would be so different. I am not use it, being a twin, not only looking alike but liking pretty much the same thing. Evie loves to do any kind of activity and does it well. Lydia is a little more reserved and shy. So when Lydia came to me and handed me a flyer and said "I want to do this"! Herriman High Mini Cheer Camp... I was all for it. Let me just say cheer has changed since I was a cheerleader back in the day. It is now required that your hot pants show pretty much all the time and your skirt must be 2 sizes too small. Also at Herriman High... I think it's required you know how to do a full back flip. I was scared someone was going to break a neck.
This picture shows you exactly what I am talking about. Lydia off not talking to anyone and Evie making friends with all the girls in her group.
Lydia... a flyer!
Evie's friend from school came to watch the girls perform. They did such a good job and they both seemed to love it.
My basement is moving right along. I can't believe how fast it is going up. Seriously these two guys are amazing. Here it is drywall all done.

This last week was all mudding and taping and texturing. I love the texture. Brett and I bought our house as a spec so all we got to pick was carpet and counter top. It has been fun to pick everything and make it the way we want.

I hate to admit this but I don't always get my kids flu shots. I know... it's horrible. With 2 kids with asthma it shouldn't even be a question. I did my job as a mom this year and got all the kids a flu shot. Well... I ask what good was it. Jake has been soooo sick. For 6 days Jake ran a temp of anywhere from 102 to 103.8 and that was with tylenol. He didn't eat for those 6 days either. He didn't walk more then 2 feet. He just laid around on the couch or my bed... and didn't sleep at night. 2 doctor appointments later and we find out Jake has the flu and an ear infection. Here we are 9 days later and we have made some improvements... eating a little and no temp. Still not 100% but I think it will take some time. Poor kid!
