This Weeks Happenings

Because we are year round at our school we are finally in our last week of this school year. I can't believe that both my girls will be in school full time next year. What will I do... I know, miss them terribly! I am so glad that it's summer and we don't have to be on a schedule and we can hang out in pajama's as long as we want.
This is Lydia with her teacher Mrs. Colvin and she is sooo fabulous. Evie had her last year and I am sure going to miss her. Lydia had a fashion show for her graduation program. Lydia dressed up as an artist. Special thanks to Lu for coming all the way out to the program... I know Lydia loved having you there!
Evelyn met this little boy in kindergarten and they were in the same class this year and they are in the same class next year. His name is Griffin and he is the sweetest little boy. The other day I dropped Evie off at school, Griffin was waiting for her and when she went to line up he stepped back and let her get in front of him. What a gentlemen! We found out where he lives and it's really close to our house so we picked him up tonight and went for a bike ride. I think they both had alot of fun.
And this was actually last week but I have to post the crazy times that we have with Jake. I love his smile here. He is almost laughing because he is getting ready to shut the door on me.
And yes, this is Jake inside the barbecuer. Ugghhhh... is all I have to say about that!
Here is a little video of Lydia at her Kindergarten program. We are so proud of you baby girl.

Dance! Dance! Dance!

Recital time! This time of the year is so busy for me and the girls. Lots of preperation goes into recitals. I have been helping back stage for the last 2 years and that adds extra time and stress. All this work for there 3 minutes on stage... is it worth it... Heck Yeah!
The girls were so excited to get flowers from Daddy!

This year we had alot of family that couldn't come because of work schedules and moving. We sure missed you guys.
All the girlie cousins got to come and the girls loved that.
Evie and Raegan back stage before the recital!
Lydia back stage waiting to go on!
This is what 5 hours of my weekend went to... CURLS... CURLS... and more CURLS!!!
Evie's hair had to be the same way!
Both of my girls after the recital! I am so proud of you baby girls!

BoYs WiLl Be BoYs

I am really understanding some of the popular boy phrases such as "Boys will be Boys" in the sense that you just throw your hands up most of the time and just deal. Then the phrase "Bouncing baby boy" I honestly think boys have a natural bounce in them and they have a hard time sitting still for long periods of time or even just 2 seconds.
I posted pictures of Jake and his hair because his hair resembles alot of his personality. His hair is out of control, untameable, wild, all over the place, crazy and cute all at the same time.

And in this picture if you look at the back ground yes I have a slide in my house because I can't spend all day outside.
I love this little guy so much but boy is he alot of work! Does anyone else think boys are harder then girls or is it just me?

Weekend FUN!

Okay so these pictures are not in order!
It was such a nice weekend. The weather was great and we were surrounded by family and friends all weekend long. This is a picture of a rainbow on sunday night. We did get some rain at the end of our weekend but it was fun watching the storm come in!

We wanted to do something fun on Saturday night so we decided to head up to the mountains and have a picnic and fire pit. The kids loved it just as much as the adults. We have decided to do this several more times this summer.
I love this picture. Jake was actually really good and he just loved sitting by the fire!

Jake loves to share whatever he is eating!

Some things I did not get a picture of: Sunday dinner at my parents with Salmon that Josh caught in Idaho... Yummy; a huge water fight saturday day; and the kids had a sleepover with Mikayla on Friday night!
This picture is for my Aunt Linda and anyone else who loves Irises. My Iris bloomed this weekend! Love the colors on this one.

Irises and Heather

Last fall my Aunt Linda sent my mom some Irises to plant in her flower beds. My mom knows how much I love flowers and so she gave me three to plant at my house. It makes me so happy when I see flowers start to bloom. I can't wait to see how pretty these are.
Thanks Aunt Linda for the Irises. I have two other ones and when they bloom I will take pictures to show you.

I am also thinking a lot about my little sis Heather today. She goes in for a pace maker. She was really upset to take this path but my older brother told her she is like Iron man and she will have this glowing orb in the middle of her chest. 8 hours of surgery and then I get to go see her tonight at the hospital.
