*UPDATE*
Brett's employement, Brett is working for PEPG (his old employer) and Woodbury (where Brett would like to get on full time) doing contract work for both right now. So we have private health insurance, which isn't amazing and hopefully Brett can get on full time some where soon but for now it's working out and we are hanging in there.
My toe, well that is pretty much screwed up. Questioning now if I should have gone to have it x-rayed. It's still swollen and not the same color as my other toes. It pops and has this grinding feeling when I walk on it. It doesn't hurt anymore but it's not straight. I am going to start running on it and see how it goes... wish me luck.
*NEW STUFF*
Lydia came running out of her bedroom screaming there was a BIG bird in the tree by her window. This is the BIG bird in the tree.
Brett and I decided that we would finish the basement and rent it out to Lu and Nick for a while to help make ends meet during this time. Plus as much as they pay in rent where they are currently we would be helping them out too. It's a win win. Here are some of the pics on the progress down stairs. I should have taken a picture of the basement with the 8 years of crap we had stored up first but then I don't think I could have posted it, I would be too embarrassed. Here it is cleaned out... sort of.We didn't have a drain for the tub so the cement had to be dug up and a pipe and drain laid. What a mess.
The good part about all that mess... it cleans up and I get my kitchen where I want it.
And it's starting to take form with the framing going up. It's so fun watching it all going in... I can't wait.
*Glen and Linda, Brett and I wrapped the couches twice all over in plastic and then taped them up well.*

I love the huge bird! Sorry your toe is still a mess - you still need to get running though because Moab is sneaking right up on us!
YAY to a finished basement!!!! I can't wait to see it done:) I love hearing all the stories my dad and brother come home with. They LOVE you!!!

Glad to hear the employment issue is sort of going well...Hope to hear full time son! I am so jealous of the basement. I want mine finished so bad but the hubby is not in board so it will not happen. Cant wait to see the finished pictures.
